Our Trainers - Their Real Life Experience…
Edward Nathan, CEO & Lead Trainer Leadership and Management, Business, Hospitality
“I am most proud of our training and support for marginalised community members,” Edward Nathan.
Attitude: Edward loves to see his trainees develop practical skills to assist them in their management positions. His trainees see him not just a teacher, but as a mentor and life coach.
Past and Present Lives: From training at a gold mine in Irian Jaya to managing an elite hotel for Exxon in Malaysia to opening a fusion restaurant in the Blue Mountains, Edward’s career has taken him around the world and back again. He loves Canberra and confidently assigns Australia the title of “best country in the world.” (Edward and Australia adopted each other about 30 years back.) Edward has learned perspicacious management skills from industry experts he has worked with at multi-nationals such as Pepsico, Exxon and P&O. He has stories to keep you riveted to your seat, providing lots of insight for your own career. (Edward is responsible for keeping more than a few people from career blunders.) It’s not to be overlooked that in his heart of hearts Edward is an entrepreneur who has previously owned other businesses and even opened a successful international culinary school. JCE Positive Outcomes is his own pride and joy, building it from scratch 21 years ago.
Real Life: Edward boasts three grown children who are just really good human beings. He thoroughly enjoys cooking his mamma’s recipes for them. He also relishes accompanying his youngest to tennis tournaments. With a recent empty nest, Edward’s dream for the near future is establishing a community charity restaurant. He also wants to develop a bush retreat center and spend more time working with the First Australians.

“Even if my trainees want to give up on themselves, I will not give up on them,” Nicole Lewis.
Attitude - Nicole finds great joy in seeing her trainees succeed not only in their career but also in life! 80% of them complete their certificate and often progress into management.
Past and Present Lives – Nicole comes to you with a wealth of industry experience. A native of Canberra, she runs her own catering company serving cakes and high tea that are out of this world (Silver Frostings.) Nicole is a natural born trainer – she has been giving a good name to JCE Positive Outcomes for eight years now.
Real Life – Nicole sees the world as her classroom, using her many travels to learn from local folks such as Cajun chefs in the U.S. state of Louisiana, street vendors in Thailand and pub owners in Scotland. In her free time, she enjoys lending a hand at the family farm and bringing fresh ingredients to the table.
